Events - Jerusalem March 2018 at Mitspe Hamasuot

Mitspe Hamasuot, located at the spot where Mount Scopus meets the Mount of Olives. A magical Jerusalem spot with breathtaking views of the Judean Desert, Jordan Valley and the Moabite mountains and on the other hand onto historic Jerusalem and the ever-changing modern skyline....a view that demonstrates both the glorious past and the promising future of Jerusalem. This is the spot from which torch relays were kindled to inform the masses of new months and holidays. This is the battlefield on which the Paratroopers fought in 1967 and in which Giora Ashkenazi, commander of Hanan Porat, gave his life for Jerusalem. The Mitspe Hamasuot center is a shady nature grove with a lookout platform, an exhibit hall with a gallery of 19th century Jerusalem paintings and an auditorium for lectures and video screenings. On Succot 2018, about 4,000 people visited the Mitspe which served as the launching point of the Jerusalem Municipality's annual "Jerusalem March". We hosted people from all over the country. We'd love to host you as well
